Born in 2019, Black Mental is a project that explores the way to produce simple and dark music made with 80’S bass, synth textures, and minimal beats.
The main idea is to go straight to the point without getting lost in the gears, trying to get the most out of the first emotion.
The lyrics of Black Mental are mainly created using the process of automatic writing.

Each track is composed bearing in mind it should work with visual material, trying to create each time a small piece of art. The project is influenced by other artists like Einstürzende Neubauten, Nick Cave, The Soft Moon, Trent Reznor, David Lynch, and by artistic movements like Dada, Bauhaus, and surrealism.
